B. In emergency conditions, for quicklier results, the product can be mixed with water, in a bucket / glass / bottle, until it melts. At 1 liter of water it is recommended to use 100 - 150 gr of Saltonit, for an area of 8 - 10 square meters. For quick preparation and immediate results, it is better to use warm water.

Depending on atmospheric conditions, the product begins to take effect (to penetrate the frozen layer) in about 15 - 20 minutes.
After the snow or ice layer has been broken, it is recommended to also remove it within 2 - 3 hours, from the area if it is low traffic areas such as inner alleys or private car parking lots. In high traffic areas, removing the dislocated frozen snow and ice is not required because the product has residual action and maintains ice broken, and traffic will make dislocated snow and broken ice disppear .

All these quantities are valid for normal temperatures in cold season (no less than - 15 ° C). If temperatures fall below - 15 ° C, you need to double the used quantity of defrost material, if you use Saltonit as such, and you need to use three times the used quantity of Saltonit if you use Saltonit combined with water (300 gr of Saltonit per 1 liter of water for an area of 8 - 10 square meters).

Turned into aqueous solution by mixing with water, Saltonit can be used for wetting solid skid material (salt, sand). Thus, skid material becomes more efficient and environmentally friendly. In this case, the dosage is a bottle of Saltonit, of 3 kg per 100 kg of sand and salt mixture.
